The current wholesale pricing is around $1.09 per gallon,

Amerigas, located in DePere, Wisconsin, is at $1.05 per gallon for the current year which runs through April 30, 2022. Amerigas is accepting new customers in year two even if they were not part of the agreement last year. If you lease your tank from another propane vendor, there will be a $194.00 charge to switch to leased or purchased Amerigas tank. Please review the Amerigas Agreement to see if additional charges may apply.

Lakes Gas, located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is at $1.579 per gallon for the current year ending May 31, 2022. If you lease your tank from another propane vendor, there is no charge to switch to a leased or purchased Lakes Gas tank. However, on a switch of a propane tank, a leak test must be performed after the install of a leased or purchased tank from Lakes Gas. They are offering the leak test at a special price of $69.95. Review the Lakes Gas Agreement to see if any additional charges may apply. Lakes Gas has also included in their agreement a section on how to avoid or reduce annual rental costs. If you are planning on switching propane vendors, do not sign the 2021-2022 Contract with your current vendor. Contact both your current vendor and the new vendor that you will be making this switch. Please send an email to Chuck Birringer at [email protected] regarding your vendor switch as well.
