Lowering Lake Levels to Winter Levels

Clark Lake has a new dam manager Ryan Brungraber, the assistant chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee for the Town of Sevastopol.  On Tuesday, Sept 28, the dam gauge level was 9.26.  According to the DNR recommended levels, the gauge should read 8.5-9.0 from May 15 – Dec 1.  We are currently slightly above that.  One board was removed.  It is anticipated that an additional board (up to a total of four) will be removed each week as determined by weekly gauge readings.  The goal is to finish removing boards by Oct 15 and to allow the lake to fall to a maximum gauge reading of 8.5 by Dec 1 (the DNR recommended level).

Please plan to have your boats off the lake by October 15 as the levels then will be substantively lower than they are currently.
