CLAA is sponsoring a buckthorn treatment day this Saturday, Sep 17th feom 9AM-Noon. You do not need to commit to the entire morning but any help would be appreciated.
Jobs include using a pruning saw, lopper, hand clipper, carrying brush, raking and bagging debris and securing a bag with a zip tie to the buckthorn stump. There are no chemicals involved.
Wear heavy gloves and clothing that you would use for gardening or lawn work.
We will have some tools but bring any of the item listed if you are able.
Water and snacks will be available.
Meet at 5373 South Lake Road for training at 9 AM.
