The west side boat ramp is the main access to the lake for both our members and day visitors. CLAA has a program to educate boaters about invasive control, lake levels, ramp conditions, slow no wake areas and our own organization. This is accomplished with brochures, pocket card handouts, signs and volunteers.
Please thank the following for volunteering and assisting boaters at the ramp : Jim Laufenberg, Gwenn Graboyes , Ralph Dunn, Chuck Davelis, Carol Davelis, and Mark Weisse.
We would also like to thank Kari Hagenow of the Door County Invasive Species Team for materials and guidance.
We need even more volunteers to make this a successful program. Ask these members about their experience and hopefully you will be convinced to give it a try yourself next year.
