CLAA is looking for volunteers for the annual bulrush density survey.

 

The density survey involves teams of 3-6 members and takes about an hour to do a site.  We have five separate sites.  Last year we had all ages represented and families seemed to enjoy this project together.

 

The teams choose their own date and time to do the survey but we need to coordinate all the teams since we only have three sets of equipment to share. No boat is necessary but you will be in the water.  Several of our members from last year have already volunteered but we could use at least one more team.

 

Plans are to begin the surveys around August 11 and have all data collected by the end of August.
