Starry Stonewort – Volunteers Needed

Volunteers to prevent the spread of Starry Stonewort needed

We still have a lot of slots open for volunteers at the west side boat ramp to assist in trailer and boat inspection in an attempt to prevent introducing Starry Stonewort into Clark Lake.

 We are trying to staff the launch during the peak hours of 10AM to 2 PM on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays through Labor Day. We are suggesting a 2 hour canadian pharmacy online shift with one or two people per shift.

 This is light duty and consists of a visual inspection of the boat and trailer both when entering and leaving the lake. There will be instructional materials, a sign and handouts at the launch.
