On Monday The Town of Sevastopol informed CLAA that all the boards are in place on the dam and the lake level is at 9.2 on the gauge attached to the dam. (These numbers have been verified by CLAA). The designated summer lake level, which is also top of the spillway of the dam is 9.0 on the gauge, which means the lake level is higher than the dam and explains why water is flowing over the dam and down Whitefish Bay Creek. Due to a lack of significant rainfall there is more water flowing out than flowing in, which could possibly drop the lake level down even further to the 9.0 level. The Town of Sevastopol has asked our membership to please refrain from calling them about lake levels. We need rain to fix this problem.
