At the annual meeting a question was raised about the difficulty of maneuvering trailers around cars parked near the ramps.  On the East side this concerned parking along the road near the ramp and on the West side it involved parking on the asphalt patch on the north side of the launch area.

 

Jacksonport will arrange next spring to paint yellow diagonals to signify no parking on the open area at the West side ramp. CLAA will contribute to the cost of the painting.

 

After meeting with local residents and representatives of Jacksonport no action was deemed necessary at the East side ramp. If there are difficulties, please document with a written report and photos and send to the “Contact Us” link on the CLAA Website. The board will review the issue again next year.
