Please extend a big thank you to the volunteers who participated in this year’s phragmites treatment. Hours of work were supplied by; Mike Brunet, Bob Fox, Kristin Mitchell, Brad Moe, Joe Otto and Mark Weisse.

 

Herbicide application was supervised by two Door County Invasive Species Team employees Samuel  Hoffman  and Tina Lee.

 

We were able to treat over 1.5 Acres of land spread over 8 different properties.  Most of the patches were small and improvement has been seen in the larger sites. We look forward to continued member and community support next year.
