Clark Lake water level receding
Near the end of May we had lake levels higher than any I have seen since I began recording in 2015. The gages at both the dam and WD were under water, the culvert was filled and even the driveway into the dam was flooded. The water level is now dropping.
We are currently at a reading of 9.66 which is higher than the DNR limit of 9.0 but close to the range we have seen in late spring the last few years.
Flow over the dam is unimpeded by any boards. Whitefish Bay Creek is running well with the top of the gage at WD now being visible and more room in the culvert.
With the combination of warm, sunny weather and the leafing out of our trees and shrubs even with normal rain we should see stable lake levels.
