CLAA has been notified that there are small floats anchored in the lake far from shore.

A floating marker can only be placed by a lake front owner if it is directly in front of their own property, does not interfere with routine boat navigation and is no more than 200 feet from shore, unless it is removed each night.  

If anyone finds such a floating marker that does not meet these standards, please note the location and notify the DNR 800-847-9367 for evaluation and removal.

If you think there is a hazard that needs to be marked please notify the DNR 800-847-9367.  They will evaluate and determine further steps.  You should not place a floating marker on your own.
